Appearance : 5 feet 2 inches tall, messy auburn hair, green eyes and a smattering of freckles over her nose. She always wears a tigers eye medallion given to her by her grandmother for her protection and also to help focus her mind.
Natasha was born to a muggle father and a squib mother. Her maternal grandmother is a seer, and Natasha grew up with her grandmother as her own parents died in a car crash when she was a child.
Tasha has never been very social, as a child she was unsure of how to behave with her peers as her only interaction with people had been with her grandmother and her grandmother's friends. As an adult, she still fears that she will not fit in with her peers and tends to keep to herself. She stutters when she's nervous, and most things make her nervous. But the other half of the time, she spends blabbering away as her mind tends to wander off without her.
She decided to accept the post of teacher as it seemed the best way for her to work, with children. She's not afraid of them, and she's quite knowledgable in the art of Divination, so it's quite the perfect thing for her to do. She soon became known as the Tea crazy professor, known for the enchanted teapot which followed her around the castle, always filled with hot and freshly brewed tea which she was ready to force onto unsuspecting students and staff members. Her lessons were always rife with interruptions (even one where she attempted to teach extispicy and all the students as well as herself ended up sick) and she was notorious for never being able to complete teaching a class. While at Hogwarts, she developed many friendships with the students and a lasting, sisterly bond with her colleague - Allegra De Luca - who taught Ancient Runes. She became Head of Hufflepuff House in 2064.
Natasha Blaylock met Professor Armand Erikson of the Herbology department while she was teaching at Hogwarts. After many signs and the undeniable physical and emotional attraction they had for each other, they married in the spring of 2062 (Term 15). Not nine months later (heh heh), they welcomed the arrival of their firstborn son - Damian Erikson.
After five terms of teaching at Hogwarts, just as she was about to make the decision between resigning her post to concentrate on her son's education as well as awaiting the birth of their second child, Natasha received a note one night that was allegedly from her husband, asking her to bring their son and join him at their country cottage in Scotland. She took the Floo network there... only to run into her own death. Her son was buried alongside her and her husband was never the same again.
